Wika Ko, Mahal Ko “Ang di marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa mabahong isda” yan ang sabe ni Gat Jose Rizal. Baket nga ba niya nasabe ito? Sa tingin mo ito’y walang tuturan? Sa tingin mo ito’y walang pinaghugutan? Sa tingin ko meron! Dahil Ikaw, ako, tayong lahat! Ay mga Pilipino! Ngunit lahat ba tayo ay nagmamahal sa ating lupang kinabibilangan? Ikaw na nakatingin saken, mahal mo ba ang iyong wika? O ikaw ay higit pa sa mabahong isda? Marahil, ika’y nagtatanung kung anung ginagawa ko dito. Nagsasalita lang? Nag-iingay? Ano pa! Nais ko lamang ay maintindihan niyo ang halaga ng ating wika. Anu nga ba ang ating wika? Ingles o Filipino? Marami sa aten ang mapagpanggap! Mapagpanggap na banyaga! Banyaga sa salita at kunwari hindi marunong magsalita ng wikang Filipino! Pansinin niyo ang bansang Korea at Hapon, sila’y hindi marunong mag-Ingles, ngunit sila’y patuloy na umuunlad. Baket kaya? Dahil sila ay mayaman? Sila ay nagging mayaman dahil sila ay mapagmahal sa kanila...

Questions with Pain

Why do we get hurt when we are wounded? Why do we cry when we are hurt? Why do we sometimes hide the pain when it's already difficult to endure it? Does it help us learn? Does it strengthen us? Why sometimes people who hurt us dont know what we feel? Is it because that they already numb? Why do we feel hurt when we love someone we love who can't love us back? What can we do to no feel the pain?
